people tell us lies all day
but we believe and never question
death surrounds us
as crows have a feast
yet no one offers a hand
choose not see or get involved
the path of apathy leading everyone
to a silent death that has no meaning
until humans are able to confront
the reality they see with the words they are told
we will waste away digging our own shallow graves
as some one smarter then me has said
between the idea and the reality falls the shadow
